Not leather, said out loud
A boot in this material is usually sold on how it looks rather than on what it is, and the two are genuinely close here — microfibre takes a grain and a shine that photograph well, and the frames this maker publishes would pass for leather at a glance. The reason to say so anyway is that the difference shows up in year two, not in week one. Microfibre does not develop a patina, it does not take a polish the way a hide does, and it will not crease into the vamp the way the split-grain flat on this shelf does. What it does do is hold its colour and shrug off a wet pavement better than an unsealed leather would. If you are buying for a customer who wants a leather boot, this is not that boot. If you are buying the shape, the shape is good.
Two linings under one colour
Each colour is filed twice — 黑色单里 and 黑色加绒, 棕色单里 and 棕色加绒 — so the same boot is sold for a mild autumn and for a real winter, and the lining is the only thing that changes. 加绒 is a brushed fleece bonded to the inside of the shaft; it adds warmth without altering the outside of the boot, which matters when one style has to be photographed for a season that runs from September into February. Ordering both means a single silhouette covers the whole year instead of the shelf carrying a summer boot and a winter boot in the same shape.
A heel you can stand in
The heel is filed 高跟, 6 to 8 cm, which reads tall until you see where it starts: it rises off a platform, so the foot is already lifted under the toe and the effective drop from heel to ball is nearer five. The base of the heel is wide — filed 粗跟, a block — and a wide block does not drop into a paving joint or turn under the ankle the way a narrow one does. On a boot that has to read with a skirt and a trouser both, and be worn standing, that is the more useful compromise than a taller, slimmer heel would have been.

Care
- Microfibre does not take a wax or a cream the way leather does. A damp cloth and a cleaner rated for synthetics is the whole routine.
- The fleece-lined version cannot be washed and should not be soaked. Brush the nap back up where it flattens at the heel.
- The maker publishes no care symbol for either lining. If you are retailing it, ask for one with the quote rather than reading it off the photographs.
