The title says wool. The sheet says six per cent.
Almost nothing in this market publishes its fibre numbers, and this stall did it by accident or by conscience: a 面料成分 card sitting inside the listing under a title shouting 羊毛. Six per cent wool, thirteen nylon, thirteen acrylic, three elastane, sixty-five recycled polyester. We print the card, because it is the only sentence in the listing with figures in it, and because the alternative is repeating a word.
A chain, not a checkerboard
Argyle is normally a diagonal grid covering the whole panel — which is why it can read as golf knitwear. Here the diamonds run in a single column down the centre front, each one set off the axis of the one above, joined by one thin line of contrast yarn. The field stays plain. One ornament, placed, instead of a pattern poured over everything.
One size, and it is measured
The stall sells this in a single size and then does the unusual thing: it measures it. Fifty-seven centimetres long, ninety-eight around the chest, forty-two across the shoulders, forty-four at the hem, for a wearer between forty and sixty kilograms. Numbers you can hold against a tape measure beat a letter every time.

Care
- Hand wash cool and dry it flat. Ribbed knits take the shape of whatever they dry on, and a hanger will lengthen this one across the shoulders.
- It carries three per cent elastane, so it recovers its own shape after a day of wearing rather than bagging at the hem.
- Pills will appear where a bag strap crosses it. A knit comb lifts them off; a razor cuts the yarn and the hole is permanent.
